| | | | The maritime and music festival Stordfest2010 takes place in Leirvik, Stord from 25.06 – 28.06.10. Stordfest has been arranged once before, in 2007. Stordfest2007 gathered some of the biggest and most beautiful tall ships in the world in the harbour of Leirvik. This, combined with some of the most famous Norwegian artist performing fantastic concerts by the seashore, made the festival a great success. It was estimated more then 35000 visitors during the three days the festival was held. | | | Stordfest2010 continues to follow the main successful recipe from 2007. This time we have even higher expectations of making this years festival better, with more ships, more artists, more visitors, and to make all visitors smile as much as the sun will do during the festival. | | | These ships will come to Leirvik during Stordfest2010 Some of the biggest and most beautiful tall ships will visit Leirvik from 25.06 –28.06.10. Tall ships such as the Norwegian SS Statsraad Lehmkuhl, SS Christian Radich and SS Sørlandet will decorate the harbour together with the Danish school ship and full rigger Skoleskibet Georg Stage. Many other smaller sailing vessels will also attend. The Norwegian Navy will be strongly represented with their submarine KNM ULA, the shetlandbus KNM Hitra, and the coastguard KV TOR.
